Calicut Mini Marathon 2011
Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, in association with Usha school of Athletics and District Sports Council proudly present “Federal Bank Calicut Mini Marathon 2011”- the only mini marathon of the city.The marathon will see thousands running shoulder to shoulder on the 6th of February 2011. With the theme “Transforming Lives”, the event will aim to mobilize the public to take up the cause of educating underprivileged children and creating awareness and sensitivity about the issue of social inclusiveness of differently abled children. All donations from the marathon will go to a few select NGOs in and around Calicut who are working for the cause.
